Unit Conversions

Click Setup ➜ Global ➜ Unit ➜ Unit Conversions. The Unit Conversions page appears.

Users can perform the following functions under Unit Conversions:

• Creating unit conversions

• Filtering unit conversions

Creating Unit Conversions

Users can create a new unit by performing the following steps:

Click the Create New button. The New Unit Conversions page appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field		Description
Conversion	Enter the unit conversion value. For example, 1
From Unit	Select the preferred From unit from the drop-down list.
To Unit	Select the preferred To unit from the drop-down list.

Is Active	Flag that indicates whether the unit conversion is active or inactive. By default, this flag is enabled (active) when creating unit conversions and cannot be disabled. This flag can be disabled to deactivate the unit conversions when opened for modification. Once disabled, the deactivated units will be displayed on the Unit Conversions page only if the Show Active Only flag is disabled.

Click Create.

Filtering unit conversions

To filter the unit conversions, perform the following steps:

Click Setup ➜ Global ➜ Unit ➜ Unit Conversions.

Click the Filter icon on the Unit Conversions page. The Filters pane appears.

Select the preferred filter by enabling the checkboxes under the following filter:

• From Unit - select the preferred checkboxes from the drop-down list.

• To Unit - select the preferred checkboxes from the drop-down list.

Click Apply. The filtered results are displayed according to the selected parameters.
