Spoilage & Loss

Spoilages & Loss records the spoilage details of items in the inventory. Inventory items are tracked from the time they are received to when they are sold or used. Spoilages and loss track the discarded inventory items and recipes that, when not tracked, are a cause for inventory variances. Posting spoilages and loss removes those items from the inventory.

When posting spoilage and loss, inventory items must be depleted from its respective bins considering the priority.

When posting spoilage and loss for inventory items marked for lot tracking, users must either choose the preferred lot from the available lots or just post transfers without choosing any lot.
