Recipe Extended Costs

Eatec now supports Recipe Extended Costs in Production, Butchery, and Finished Goods Transfers. Users can apply, edit, trace, and account for extended costs with support for real-time cost updates, general ledger accounting, role-based access, and reporting.

This enhancement provides customers a better visibility into additional production costs and improves valuation and financial traceability for finished goods inventory movements.

To activate this feature in Eatec for a customer/tenant, users must first configure the Enable Recipe Extended Costs configuration in the Eatec Enterprise Management portal.

Users can perform the following functions under Recipe Extended Costs:

  • Create Recipe Extended Costs

  • Modify Recipe Extended Costs

  • Deactivate Recipe Extended Costs

  • Activate Recipe Extended Costs

Creating Recipe Extended Costs

Navigate to Setup ➜ Recipe ➜ Recipe Extended Costs. The Recipe Extended Costs page appears.

Click Create New. The New Recipe Extended Costs page appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field

Description

Name

The name of the recipe extended costs.

Code

The code for the recipe extended costs.

Credit Account

Select the preferred account from the drop-down list.

Status

Flag that indicates whether the recipe extended cost is active or inactive. By default, this flag appears enabled (active) when creating a new recipe extended costs and cannot be disabled.

This flag can be disabled to deactivate the Recipe Extended Costs when opened for modification. Once disabled, the deactivated Recipe Extended Costs will be displayed on the Recipe Extended Costs page only if the Show Active Only flag is disabled.

Click Create.

Modifying Recipe Extended Costs

Select a preferred recipe extended cost from the Recipe Extended Costs section.

Under Actions, click Edit. The Edit Recipe Extended Costs page appears.

Modify the existing field details.

Click Update.

Deactivating Recipe Extended Costs

Select the preferred recipe extended cost to be deactivated.

Under Actions, click Deactivate. A Confirmation pop-up appears.

Click Confirm.

Activating Recipe Extended Costs

Disable the Show Active Only flag to view the deactivated recipe extended cost. The deactivated recipe extended cost appears.

Select the preferred recipe extended cost to be activated.

Under Actions, click Activate. A Confirmation pop-up appears.

Click Confirm.
