Product

Products are grouped according to the food and services offered by customers. Besides the typical categories like appetizers, salads, and entrees, other options include non-food product types, such as services, staff, tableware, props, flowers, tents, and so on. Retailers generally use the same product type as defined in Inventory, such as jewelry, apparel, and sundries. An important consideration in determining Product Types is how the user wants items grouped on sales reports.
