Packages

Packages are groups of similar items or package types. Package Types consist of the following:

  • Inventory items

  • Recipes

  • Products

  • Suppliers

  • Customers

  • Equipment

An item is configurable in multiple packages, but an item does not list more than once in the same package. Quantities are not valid in a package.

Use packages to perform the following:

  • Auto-fill lists when the same items are required repeatedly.

  • Restrict access to site or location specific data items.

Click Masters à Packages. The Packages page appears.

The Packages page displays the following details:

Field

Description

Package ID#

The identification number of the package.

Name

The name of the package.

Description

The description about the package.

Remarks

Remarks, if any.

Actions

The ellipsis that allows users to perform the following actions:

  • Edit

  • Activate/Deactivate

Users can search for a specific package by entering the package name in the search box.

Users can perform the following functions under Packages:

  • Creating packages

  • Modifying packages

  • Deactivating packages

  • Activating packages
