Loading Bay

Loading Bay at a location is the place where vehicles are loaded and unloaded.

Click Setup ➜ Hierarchy ➜ Loading Bay.

Users can perform the following under Loading Bay:

  • Create loading bay

  • Modify loading bay

  • Deactivate loading bay

  • Activate loading bay

Creating Loading Bay

Users can create a new loading bay by performing the following steps:

Click Create New. The New Loading Bay page appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Description

Name

The name of the loading bay.

Code

The code number of the loading bay.

Description

The description of the loading bay.

Time1

Select the time 1 from the timer.

Time2

Select the time 2 from the timer.

Time3

Select the time 3 from the timer.

Time4

Select the time 4 from the timer.

Time5

Select the time 5 from the timer.

Time6

Select the time 6 from the timer.

Time7

Select the time 7 from the timer.

Time8

Select the time 8 from the timer.

Is Active

Flag that indicates whether loading bay is active or inactive. By default, this flag appears toggled on (active) when creating a loading bay and cannot be toggled off. This flag can be toggled off to deactivate the loading bay when opened for modification. Once toggled off, the deactivated loading bay will be displayed on the Loading Bay page only if the Show Active Only flag is toggled off.

Click Create.

Modifying Loading Bay

Users can modify existing loading bay by performing the following steps:

Click the ellipsis under Actions corresponding to the preferred loading bay.

Click Edit. The Edit Loading Bay page appears.

Modify the required details.

Click Update.

Deactivating Loading Bay

Users can deactivate existing loading bay by performing the following steps:

Click the ellipsis under Actions corresponding to the preferred loading bay.

Click Deactivate. The system prompts the user to confirm the deactivation.

Click Confirm.

Activating Loading Bay

Users can activate existing loading bay by performing the following steps:

Toggle off the Show Active Only flag to view the deactivated loading bays. The deactivated loading bays appear.

Select a deactivated loading bay.

Click the ellipsis under Actions corresponding to the preferred deactivated loading bay.

Click Activate. The system prompts the user to confirm the activation.

Click Confirm.
