Dietary Preference

Users can perform the following functions under Dietary Preference:

• Create dietary preference

• Modify dietary preference

• Deactivate dietary preference

• Activate dietary preference

Creating Dietary Preference

Users can create a new dietary preference by performing the following steps:

Click Setup ➜ Global ➜ Nutrients ➜ Dietary Preferences. The Dietary Preference page appears.

Click the Create New button. The New Dietary Preference page appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field	Description
Name	Enter the name of the allergen.
Code	Enter the code for the dietary preference.
Description	A description for the dietary preference.
Is Active	Flag that indicates whether the dietary preference is active or inactive. By default, this flag appears enabled (active) when creating a dietary preference and cannot be disabled. This flag can be disabled to deactivate the dietary preference when opened for modification. Once disabled, the deactivated dietary preference appears on the Dietary Preference page only if the Show Active Only flag is disabled.

Click Create.

Modifying Dietary Preference

Users can modify existing dietary preference by performing the following steps:

Click the ellipsis under Actions corresponding to the preferred dietary preference.

Click Edit. The Edit Dietary Preference page appears.

Modify the preferred details.

Click Update.

Deactivating Dietary Preference

Users can deactivate existing dietary preferences by performing the following steps:

Click the ellipsis under Actions corresponding to the preferred dietary preference.

Click Deactivate. The system prompts the user to confirm the deactivation.

Click Confirm.

Activating Dietary Preference

Users can activate a deactivated dietary preference by performing the following steps:

Toggle off the Show Active Only flag to see the deactivated dietary preference. The deactivated dietary preference appears.

Select a deactivated dietary preference.

Click the ellipsis under Actions corresponding to the preferred dietary preference.

Click Activate. The system prompts the user to confirm the activation.

Click Confirm.
