Cycle Planning

Cycle Planning enables users with the ability to provide seamless cyclical and buffet management. It is mainly based on previous plans or other operational criteria. Each plan calculates the quantities of products forecasted to be sold for a given period.

Cycle Planning allows users to plan weekly/monthly meal plans used for buffets in food outlets catering to a large scale of customers such as university canteens and catering kitchens that serve a variety of dishes. Plans are created for the list of products that must be available at various stations on a specific date. Cycle planning enables easier transactions by considering the items in the plan and evaluating costs based on their quantities. This minimizes the effort in planning the menu items and evaluating their costs every time.

Users can perform the following functions in Cycle Planning:

  • Configuring cycle plans

  • Creating cycle plans

  • Managing cycle plans

  • Modifying cycle plans

  • Activating cycle plans

Click Sales à Cycle Planning. The Cycle Planning page appears with Planning List of cycles and the following details:

Field

Description

Show Active Only

When enabled, displays only the list of active cycle plans.

Plan ID

The name created for the cycle plan.

Description

Optional text field.

Location

The location of the cycle plan.

From Date

The start date of the cycle plan.

To Date

The end date of the cycle plan.

Created On

The date the cycle plan was created.

Last Modified

The date the cycle plan was last modified.

Actions

Includes the following options:

  • Edit - allows users to edit an existing cycle plan

  • Deactivate - allows users to deactivate an existing cycle plan

The Planning List section supports the following filters:

  • Date Range

  • Locations

  • Last Edited On

  • Last Edited By

  • Entered On

  • Entered By
