Butchery

The butchery module utilizes a special kind of production posting called butchery production. Butchery production allows for the posting of portion-sized pieces of finished goods and adjusts the depleted amount of bulk source items, in one window, in one posting process. 

Butchery production in Eatec uses finished goods as portion-sized pieces cut or portioned by a butcher, and production recipes to identify the source item, as well as any other needs in the production of the finished good.

When posting butchery, inventory items must be incremented to its respective bins considering the priority and capacity.

When posting butchery for inventory items marked for lot tracking, users must mandatorily specify the Lot ID to which the received items must be allocated to their respective expiration date.
