Selecting Lots for Production Recipe of FG Item

Users are allowed to select a specific lot and specify the item quantity that must be depleted. Users must enable the Choose Ingredient Lots check box to select multiple ingredients lots.

Users are provided with all lots available for the linked items of the selected production recipe and sub-recipes linked for an FG item for Production and Butchery. Users are allowed to select one or more lots for each of the linked inventory items available lots. Users are not allowed to select where the QTY Remaining is less than or greater than zero. Ingredient lot linked to users is valid only when the QTY Remaining of each ingredient is equal to zero. Users are not allowed to postproduction or add Selected QTY when the Lot QOH of a given Lot of an inventory item is less than the reserved QTY.

On clicking the Choose Lots under the Ingredient Lots column in the Item List section, the Choose Lots page appears with the list of ingredient items linked to the production recipe. Users can choose every ingredient item and specify the quantity of the item in the Selected QTY field that must be depleted.

Production

Log on to Eatec.

Click Production Management ➜ Production.

Click New Production. The New Production page appears.

Select the preferred location from the Location drop-down menu.

Select the post date from the Post Date drop-down menu. This is a mandatory field.

Select the Choose Ingredient Lots check box.

Click Item List.

Add the preferred FG inventory items to the Item List section.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field	Description
Quantity	Enter the production quantity.
Lot ID	Enter the Lot ID.
Manufactured Date	The manufacturing date of the FG item.
Expiry Date	The expiry date of the FG item gets auto updated.

Click Choose Lots under the Ingredients Lots column. The Choose Lots page appears.

Select the preferred lot for each ingredient item to be consumed for the production activity.

Click Save.

Click Post Production.

Butchery

Log on to Eatec.

Click Production Management ➜ Butchery.

Click Create New.

Select the preferred location from the Location drop-down menu.

Select the post date from the Post Date drop-down menu. This is a mandatory field.

Select the Choose Ingredient Lots check box. 

Click Item List.

Add the preferred FG inventory items to the Item List section.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Click Post.

The following occurs once the lots are posted in production:

• Increment location QOH of the FG item at production location.

• Deplete inventory item location QOH at depletion location.

• Deplete inventory item Lot QOH as per user selection. If there is no user selection for an ingredient lot, then the required quantity is depleted under the default lot depletion logic.

• Record inventory usage activity for production\depletion.

• Record Inventory Lot activity for production\depletion.

• Record Inventory production activity for FG production.

• Record Inventory Lot activity for FG production. 

• Record GL activity for production transaction.
